Our Brouilly 2022 Featured on JancisRobinson.com!

We were delighted to discover a wonderful article on JancisRobinson.com, one of the world’s leading references in wine criticism and analysis. Written by Tamlyn Currin, our Brouilly 2022 was selected as "Wine of the Week", a fantastic recognition for our estate and our work.

A Wine, A Terroir, A Recognition

In her article, Tamlyn Currin highlights the identity of our vineyard, focusing on our various environmental initiatives—tree planting, energy self-sufficiency, water collection basins, beehive installations, and more—as well as a special emphasis on our blend of different parcels within the Brouilly appellation.

She writes:
"It’s a huge project, an ongoing investment not only in the future resilience of the estate but also for the future of the planet. But I knew none of this when I tasted their Brouilly 2022 at the end of last October, writing: ‘I fell so in love with this Brouilly…’ and giving it a score of 17.5/20. Somehow, it manages to be soft and bursting with juiciness, splashing, while drawing from a deep well of dark stone. It tastes of raspberry and blackberry, ink and earth, orange peel and old bricks. The tannins seem to simply tag the fruit with a street-art flourish. A delicious wine with soul."

We are truly honored by this recognition, which not only highlights our Brouilly 2022 but also shines a light on the history and philosophy of Château de La Chaize.

A Big Thank You!

We extend our deepest thanks to Tamlyn Currin for her detailed analysis and thoughtful comments, as well as to the entire Jancis Robinson team for their invaluable work in showcasing wines from around the world.

We are thrilled to share this recognition with you and invite you to discover our Brouilly 2022, a wine that embodies the craftsmanship and authenticity of Château de La Chaize.
